Zanotelli Description
Founded in 1860, Zanotelli is a family run winery in Valle di Cembra, Trentino-Alto Adige. The family farms 15 hectares of vines planted to Muller Thurgau, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Kerner, Riesling, Manzoni Bianco, Lagrein, Pinot Nero and Schiava between 400-900 meters on steep slopes of terraced vineyards. The extreme temperature changes between day and night combined with south-east exposure and porphyritic soils create wines of aromatic elegance and distinction.
Zanotelli's Pinot Grigio comes from the Saosènt vineyard in Cembra. All grapes are fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromas and fruit intensity of the wine. Mid-gold color with aromas of spiced pear, golden apples and rocky minerals, this Pinot Grigio delivers an enticing balance of refreshment and round, rich mouthfeel that effortlessly flow into a vibrant finish.
