From the “ugly old” wine line, this work by Viña Tinaja shines with young and exuberant examples of a rosé wine produced from 100% Pinot Noir red grapes.
The Maule Valley tradition for producing this strain has yielded impressive results, due to its climate comparable to that of Burgundy, although with thinner and more peculiar soils.
Between “Barbie” pink and translucent, Viejo Feo Pinot Noir Rosé has a good body and reflects the beauty that is pleasing to the eye in other tasting notes as well.
Very aromatic on the nose, with notes of bittersweet and caramel. In the mouth, it reveals itself to be fruity, reminiscent of red guava and coffee fruit.
On the palate, we feel the perfect balance between ripe fruit and acidity, with a saline finish.
It allows for a variety of pairings, but mainly for appetizers with soft cheeses, canapés or vegan appetizers. At a meal, choose to pair it with grilled white meats or salads, to highlight its freshness
