Tasting notes
Straw yellow with green hues denoting its youth, LAN Blanco exhibits on the nose the herbal aromas characteristic of the Viura grape variety, with hints of fresh fruit (apple, pear, lime). Medium bodied and round, the lemon zest and orange peel that prevail on the palate are a taste preview of its crisp finish.
Food pairing
Works well on its own as a fresh "patio" sipping" wine. LAN Blanco pairs nicely with all kinds of hors d'oeuvres, pasta, mussels, shrimp and fish. Serve at 9 to 11C (60-65F).
Varietals
100% Viura coming from 30 years old vines located at Viña Lanciano state and other selected parcels close to our vineyards.
Vinification
Manually harvested, the destemmed Viura grapes were softly crushed and macerated for 14 hours prior to fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermented at a low temperature (18 C) for three weeks, it was then macerated in contact with the lees for a further four months prior to bottling
