65% MERLOT, 20% CAB/SAUV, & 15% CAB/FRANC
Started in 1880, the Château de Roquebrune has belonged to the Guinjard family for over five generations. Really superb, dense and fleshy, combining color and structure. With characteristic notes of cherry and humus, robust, mature tannins, powerful and tasty mouth, and excellent guard.
On the nose ripe cherry, with scents of currant and leather, it’s a generous and harmonious wine, of intense crimson color, and develops a persistent mouth feel. On the palate notes of spices and blueberry, with nuances of smoke.
