Chateau L'Insouciance Description
50% MERLOT, 30% CAB SAUV, 20% CAB FRANC
The clay-limestone soils that bring freshness and power and the deep gravelly soils that enhance elegance and finesse. In 2009 a small 1.78 hectare island based on one of this famous rolling hill has been bought by a group of five friends all passionate by wines and vines to create Château l’ Insouciance.
It has distinctive, somewhat complex bouquet of mild tobacco, blackcurrant and small dark berries. It has a heavy savory quality with slightly creamy red fruits and dense silky tannins. The body is voluptuous and velvety and a mixture of both dense and mild tanninc touch.
